ID card problems and solutions

Forgotten ID/waiting for replacement: get a letter from the Student Records Office on main campus and this letter will be accepted as proof of ID and enable access to the Library.

No green light/no beep on turnstile: indicates that the ID card itself is damaged. To rectify this issue go to the Student Records Office in the West Wing to get a replacement card and request a confirmation letter until card is ready.  Staff should contact Human Resources.

Flashing green light/double beep on turnstile:

(i) Version error: you may have received a replacement card but may be using an old card accidentally.  The latest version of your card is required. Contact the Student Records Office. Staff should contact Human Resources.

OR

(ii) Badge unauthorized: students may not have registered for their modules/paid their fees and so need to contact the Student Records Office. Staff should contact Human Resources.
