Renew a book

You can renew a Standard loan book as long as no one else has requested it. Short loan items (yellow sticker) cannot be renewed.

There are multiple ways of renewing a book.

• You can log on to your library account and renew your book online. You can only renew a book on or before the date that it becomes due. If your books are overdue this will not work. Full details on Logging on to your Library Account can be found here.

• You can bring your Library Card to the Customer Services Desk and we will renew the books for you.

• You can phone or email the Customer Services Desk or the Boole Library Information Desk

• You can re-issue the books to yourself using the Self-Issues.

You can only renew an item twice after the initial standard loan period. Once you have reached this limit the items will have to be returned.

Books may be recalled if they are required by another reader.

You will also not be able to renew items that have been recalled by another library user.
