How can I arrange Library Training Sessions?
Librarians support collaboration with other University staff to improve student learning. UCC Library has a team of Subject Liaison Librarians who are available to assist you with this process. The Subject Librarian is the primary liaison person for the provision of library and information services to students and staff in a particular subject area.
You can contact a Liaison Librarian:
- to arrange basic library instruction for your students
- to arrange more advanced sessions on topics such as sourcing journal articles, database searching, effective web searching, EndNote, evaluating information sources etc.
- to explore how information literacy might be embedded in the curriculum and associated assignments
- for further information on information literacy/information skills
